Matthew Klaczkiewicz- Senior Physiotherapist

Matt graduated from the University of Sydney in 2010 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). He worked in North West Sydney for four years before moving to Shell Cove in 2015.

 

During his time as a physiotherapist, Matt has worked extensively with titled APA Sports Physiotherapists, Orthopaedic surgeons, Sports Physicians and Radiologists, seeing thousands of clients and helping them get back to their best.

 

Matt is continually completing professional development courses both online and in person to keep up to date on the latest research regarding rehabilitation of injuries.

 

Common injuries that Matt sees include:
 

  • ankle sprains

  • back pain (disc bulges, facet joint pain, arthritis/spondylitis, muscular pain, sciatica/nerve pain)

  • pelvis/SIJ pain

  • neck pain (wry neck, muscle pain, disc bulges, facet pain, arthritis/narrowing/spondylitis, nerve pain)

  • shoulder pain (impingement, rotator cuff tendinopathy/tears)

  • knee pain (ACL tears, meniscus tears, arthritis)

  • achilles pain (tendinitis/tears/ruptures)

  • plantarfasciitis

  • osteoarthitis

  • tennis elbow/golfers elbow

 

Matt is the current physiotherapist for the Shellharbour Suns Senior AFL Club in the AFL South Coast Competition. He is also the physiotherapist for Shellharbour Cricket Club in the South Coast District Cricket Association. Matt is a consultant physiotherapist for the Shellharbour Stingrays Seniors in the South Coast Group 7 Rugby League Competition.

 

When he isn't at work you will find Matt spending time with his wife and three kids, playing cricket or having a round of golf.

Ayden Janssen- APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist

Ayden is a Sports Physiotherapist who helps runners, field sport athletes and active individuals recover from injury and return to the activities they enjoy, specialising in lower limb rehabilitation. He works with runners and field sport athletes of all levels, from recreational participants to high-performance competitors. He works with people of all activity levels, from everyday patients to competitive athletes.

He graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and, in 2025, completed a Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. He holds the title of APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, recognising advanced training in managing complex musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

During his postgraduate training and professional experience, Ayden worked alongside internationally recognised experts in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy. He has also worked with professional sporting organisations, including the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (NRL) and the Sydney Kings (NBL), and applies this high-performance experience to everyday Physiotherapy care.

Ayden has a particular interest in lower limb rehabilitation, especially complex ankle and foot conditions, acute and chronic knee injuries, and hip and groin issues. He delivers progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation designed to support safe return to activity and long-term resilience.

Clinical interests include:

  • Running-related injuries for competitive and recreational runners

  • Lower limb injury rehabilitation

  • Complex ankle and foot conditions

  • Conservative and post-surgical ACL rehabilitation

  • Adult hip and groin pain, including hip osteoarthritis, labral injuries, bursitis and gluteal tendinopathy

  • Adolescent growth-related or sports injuries

 

Ayden is currently the Physiotherapist for the Shellharbour Stingrays Seniors (South Coast Group 7 Rugby League) and consultant Physiotherapist for Warilla Wanderers Football Club and Shellarbour Suns AFL.

Outside Physiotherapy, he enjoys surfing, exploring camping spots along the South Coast, and a good coffee.

Stacey Bourke- Senior Physiotherapist

Stacey joins the Shellharbour Sports Physio team after 14 years experience working at a physiotherapy clinic in Narellan. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2011. She brings a broad background in treating a wide range of injuries, with a particular focus on lower limb conditions.

 

Stacey has worked with various sports teams across netball, athletics, and Australian rules football, and has previously served as the Head Physiotherapist for the Camden Cats Senior AFL Club.

She enjoys the challenge of working with clients from all walks of life—including NDIS participants, children, athletes, and everyday clients—helping each to reach their full potential.

Clinical interests include:

  • Foot, ankle and knee injuries

  • Developing athletes

  • AFL and netball injuries

  • Pilates

 

Outside of work, Stacey loves travelling, sharing a glass of wine with friends and family, and soaking up the sunshine at the beach.
